Think I've got all of them there, hopefully. Feel free to make fun of me if I missed a song. Anyway, which song best opens an Oasis gig? I've put in It's Good To Be Free as it was part of a Oasis Album Promo Tour even though Liam wasn't there. Also I'm not sure where to put FITB as it was played back and for the rest of Oasis Gigs 2000-onwards With 10 choices I've decided each person can vote for 3 songs

I voted The Swamp Song/Acquiesce. To open your gig with 2 B-sides. It's a challenge and I love the challenge. How cool is that! PS: (It's Good) To Be Free is an another B-Side, sorry

R&RS, never liked the song ever. cant stand the studio version at all.
But when I saw them live and they opened up with this It was magic, proper hairs on back of neck moment. crowd went mental

Swamp Song - the Maine Road gig opener was epic.
TUTS was awesome, too, at the Manchester 2005 gig, though.

I voted Hello in 2002. Just an outstanding opener, especially considering how delightful it was to have it back in the live set.

I don't remember my original choices, but I revoted for Swamp Song-Acquiesce, Bring It On Down (Alans drumming on it is fucking mega, but all the boots with it have Liams voice loud in the mix sadly) and Hindu Times (personal favorite song).

Everytime I watch the DVD of that gig, I say to myself "god, glad that I wasn't there". Why? A good friend of mine was at this gig and he told me that almost everyone there was drunk, on drugs or fighting. Liam was in a top form btw. He would have been looked cooler without that hat.

The hat is the best part mimmi! It makes the outfit whole!

It's for the better then. But if that weren't the case, then I'm sure it would have been great to see that show live!

Went with Go Let It Out. Almost went with Hello because I've been listening to Lyon 2002 a lot recently. I prefer Rock N Roll Star near the end of the setlist before the encores, a la Manchester 2005.
