Glad to see Noel didnt chicken out and finally gave this one a go live! I'm sure the performances will improve as they go along. Solo wasnt terrible but definitely could/should be more pronounced.

moan and moan and moan and moan what would have you done with the solo? tell us. perfectly fine, thats it. Not have Tim Smith play it. It definitely has some potential, would be good to have a lady on there.

Noel should do the solo. Tim Smith is a total clown but tbf he was a pretty last minute addition. Probably couldn't find anyone better.
Wonder if they'll do something with the choir later in the tour?

He should play "I'd Pick You Every Time". I fuckin' love that song. Noel has a way of writing love songs that don't sound corny. I'd Pick You Every Time-- awesome phrase.

Hopefully, all the non album tracks make it to the setlist at some point. I may be alone here, but I'd love for him to open with I'd Pick You Every Time.

^ Thanks for that
Hopefully we hear it later on this tour in concert. I think it's be a great addition to the set.
Glad that he is switched out an Oasis tune for LTLSALOM as opposed to a HFB one. Hopefully he continues that way over subsequent albums.

Jesus Christ. I've read so much crap from you squares for too long. Stand in front of my fucking amps, and I'll let you hear what I hear.I was asked to play with Noel after his other friend didn't seem to work out, and at the last minute, I came in, and have played what I've been asked to play. You think Noel would let me half ass my way thorough his songs? Listen-I'm not Gem. He's a cool guy, have met them all over the years, I respect them all. I've no dog in this race. I'm hired to play Noels songs. He asked me to play the notes of the girl singer's solo in LTLSALOM. That's all...A few rehearsals, and then we started playing it live in South America. Whatever, people. I've played with lots of artists over the years, as a bassist, and guitarist, and I'm sorry if I don't blow your Oasis minds, with my playing. I'll bet most of you have no idea what I'm playing, anyway, as this is really only Noel's gig, and yeah, I probably don't get the sonic support from the front of house that Noel does-some of my musician friends at gigs have said as such So, when we play again in the Uk , bring your too cool for school haircuts, and matching jackets round my way, cause I'd LOVE you to get to know what it's like. I was told this gig was all about the songs, so lighten up all you Francises, your IDOL asked me to play with him, at least for this tour and he's been nothing but cool and open to me about what I do. So, take a crap, have a drink, say hi to me if you dare, but really, Jesus. Get a fucking life.

So was that really Tim Smith or what? His post is in Kiddies' Corner now, so I guess not. Just as well, imagine reading people saying that kind of thing about you...
