I have one question. Why does Noel (or Liam) always says "This is for the Stewie Wonder fans" before "Step Out"?
Thanks for an answer,

BECAUSE STEP OUT WAS GONNA BE ON WHATS THE STORY MORNING GLORY, BUT IT SOUNDED TO MUCH LIKE A STEVIE WONDER SONG, SO OASIS AND STEVIE CAME TO AN AGREEMENT IT COULD BE A B-SIDE (DLBIA) I SUPPOSE WHEN NOEL DEDICATES IT TO STEVIE WONDER FANS HES BEIN HIS USUAL FUNNY SARCASTIC WAY.

The song in question is Uptight (Everything Is Alright). The two songs are almost identical in some parts. Also, the "burnin' down the road" bit from Step Out is "borrowed" from Rosalie by Thin Lizzy.

the "you're my bitch" line must've been from some gangsta!

the "you're my bitch" line must've been from some gangsta! I don't want to sound like a swot but the line is actually "you're my ship". Noel just changes the word 'ship' for 'bitch' when they play the song live.
