Let's say oasis put out a greatest after the next record.
There's gotta be 2 cd's worth by then. I don't know what second cd will look like but the first one must be pretty obvious. I tried to make it kinda realistic so all the tunes fit on one cd and it’s chronological. (B-sides come after each A-side to make it fit within one cd). Here we go:
1. Live forever 4:38
2. Supersonic 4:44
3. Cigarettes & alcohol 4:50
4. Whatever 6:21
5. Roll with it 4:00
6. Wonderwall 4:19
7. The master plan 5:23
8. Don’t look back in anger 4:48
9. Some might say 5:28
10. Talk tonight 4:21
11. Acquiesce 4:23
12. Champagne supernova 7:30
13. D’you know what I mean? 7:22
14. Stand by me 5:58
15. Going nowhere 4:41
The blue album is the best "greatest" I know of, but these oasis tunes can fucking match the blue one with ease!
Replace Going nowhere with Rockin' chair and it's still just as good. Replace Roll with it with Morning Glory and it's still the same.
75:88 min of fucking gems. I'm wasting my time on the right fucking band!!

If an Oasis Blue Album was to mirror The Bealtes one, it would have to either chronical the last 3 years or more realistically the last 4 albums. I think that would still put the Blue Album quite a bit above an Oasis one. An Oasis Red Album on the other hand.....

I think that would still put the Blue Album quite a bit above an Oasis one. An Oasis Red Album on the other hand..... I know what you mean but I guess my intent was to hold a future oasis greatest up against the best "greatest" ever (the blue album). Now If you had to split early/new oasis stuff on 2 double albums like beatles ...then oasis would lose! crap |

I'm just saying that oasis don't have a complete double album worth of greatest oasis tunes yet. You can fill one cd with about 80min worth of oasis hits. But they don't have enough hits to fill out a second cd. I'm just saying that when it's complete it would beat The Blue Album by The Beatles. |

Thing is though you can't say that would 'beat' the Blue Album, cos The Blue Album isn't a full catalogue of Beatles hits, unlike that list. You need to come up with a combination of the Blue Album and Red Album. Call it the Murky Purple Album ;D  |
