I've just seen a website advertising a japenese copy of Don't believe the truth for sale. it says it has bonus tracks: Can Y'see it Now? (I Can See it Now) and
Sittin' Here in Silence on My Own.

I've only seen one site selling this and I've never ever heard of these tracks before. Is this genuine? Will these songs be released outside of Japan? does anyone know?

This songs are genuine and they were only released in the jap version. You can find it on Virgin store as well.

I've heard Sitting here in silence and I don't think it's very good. Not heard Can you see it now yet though. I think they'll probably be released as B sides, Like 'You've got the heart of a star' was.

I have the Japanese import version. My wife is Japanese and I had her brother send it to me. Anyway, I think the two bonus tracks are two of the better songs on there.

'Can Y'see It Now? (I Can See It Now) is an instrumental. I usually don't enjoy instrumentals, but I really like this one. It's not as raunchy and rocking as 'F**k'n In The Bushes', which I also like, btw. It's more a lightweight and upbeat instrumental.

'Sittin' Here In Silence On My Own' is yet another Noel ballad gem. It's only about 2 minutes long, but it's a cool song. I love it when Noel writes songs like these.

These 2 bonus songs just prove yet again that some of Oasis' best stuff are songs a lot of people never hear.
