MIne: 1.) their music is everything I love rolled into one : pop, proper British RockNRoll, punk, acoustic ballads... period. 2.) the feeling I get from the music... vibes.. goes beyond the senses at times... 3.) style, attitude, Liam's voice yearning for something and also mesmerizing... SO DIRECT and in yer face ! you want more !!!! 4.) Noel's voice and lyrics speak VOLUMES to me. AN IMMEDIATE CONNECTION. 5.) haircuts and GOOD LOOKS ! madferrit ! ;D 6.) working class background... your turn... Tam

They just changed my world.
People forget now that they were the 'punkiest' band since '76. If we can do it, you can do it. Songs full of 'you', 'me' 'we', 'us'. I really felt like Noel was writiing, and Liam was singing, for me. As did so many others. We had OUR band. That's the thing about Oasis, they will always be my band, your band, the ultimate band of the people.

yeah thanks... I have read 2 books that go into what they meant to england , still do. ("oasis : supersonic supernova" and "take me there, the story..") mags saying "Oasis - the band you've been waiting for" and how england was in the toilet economically (is it worth the aggrevation to find yerself a job...?" - and how they revived rocknroll. as did the beatles.. on all the dvds... the lads going on and on about their love for liam etc. fan-fuckin-tastic ! I never experienced that.. live in the states... oasis - a band so engrained into the culture and the youth...songs, hair, clothes, connection to football, the attitude, vibes... embodies it all ... love to hear about it. they mean so much to me personally - it's been like a wicked love affair for this chick since mid 90s !
