I just found this on youtube and I don't remember seeing anyone post this on here. If so, let me know and I'll delete the thread.

This was posted back when it was taped in November. I think part of this song is also in the album documentary.

Hmmm...that was my recording. I am credit as a "random citizen" - hardly the case, I'm an Oasis lifer. I don't mind the sharing, that's what we do, but that is my recording being shared.

Fabulous work! A million thanks!!! Thanks, mkoasis! It's a beautiful song, and it's fun to have a new soundcheck to speculate over

He should do a cover live. And Don't Think Twice It's Alright would be perfect.

Anyone else think Noel sounds a bit country on Don't Think Twice It's Alright? He should do a show in Nashville. TDOYAM (ragtime), Don't Think Twice It's Alright, and IPYET.

Not a big fan of country despite it being a massive genre in my neck of the woods. I just listened to the new song for the first time. Made a point not to listen to it the first time around, didn't want a repeat of IIHAG, but I my willpower broke this time. Oh well

Bit confusing if he's going down the country route... only America really takes much notice of Country music. It doesn't usually do well in the UK. I suppose he's not really doing it for chart positions or record sales anymore, sounds alot like he's just doing it because he enjoys it.
It'll be interesting to hear the next album, I get the feeling it's going to be totally different... just hope it's not all about this AA nonsense.

New song verse reminds me of Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police, chorus definitely evokes In Bloom, sounds like another classic in the making to my ears, you can see what Noel means about he ballads coming so effortlessly to him so he often discards them or doesn't pursue them as much.
Many thanks a lot for recording and uploading.

You're quite welcome. Here are the original soundcheck clips, for those who missed them first time around: New song: Don't Think Twice It's Alright: Let the Lord Shine a Light on Me: Out of curiosity, what's the story about how you got these soundcheck recordings? I mean did you get let in backstage or was there somewhere nearby the arenas you knew you could catch and hear the soundcheck?

I mean did you get let in backstage or was there somewhere nearby the arenas you knew you could catch and hear the soundcheck? I hung around the venue in the afternoon, when I'd caught a previous soundcheck. This time, I'd brought a camera. I tried to get in, but the security guard was determined to not let me through. Little did he know, I was quite content to listen and enjoy this little performance. Actually it was 9 songs, so not short at all.

You can usually hear a little from outside the venue, if that' what you're asking. But it depends on the venue.
