Saw Paul McCartney live yesterday, first time in my life.. SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! A true legend!!! So classy! I'd assume there are some fans on here, so what I'm making this thread for: I want to buy a live DVD, can any of you advice me on what DVD to buy? Is there a DVD from the 'On The Run' tour? Or another quite recent one? Also, are there any bootlegs of the On The Run tour that any of you know where to find? Appreciate your help Thanks!

Would love to see him live. Loads of people don't think he's up to much these days but hardly anyone has listened to The Fireman's Electric Argument. I really really like that album and it shows he's still got it in my opinion. What do others think of it?

"Good Evening New York City" is a good choice.
Macca is absolutely amazing. I've seen him a couple of times over the years, e.g. last week in Zurich and a few months ago in Milan (Noel was in the audience as well).

Read that, quite interesting. I think a song (or maybe just a theme tune) will be released as a single, accompanied by a 120 piece orchestra conducted by Giles Martin (son of George). I thought his last album was brilliant - along with Bruce Springsteen, he's one of the very few artists who continually works and, as of late for Macca, has released great material. So many bands fanny around for 3-5 years to release just 10 songs, the likes of Macca and Springsteen still providing far better quality work and they take no time at all in comparison.

Soooo envious of everybody who has seen him. He hasn't played in NZ or Australia since the early 90's for some strange reason.

Well he was one of the main forces in the greatest band of all time. So he gets a pass from me cause of that. Some of his earlier solo albums and Wings stuff are great but he's done a awful lot of shite. Great Live though. Still the greatest solo work from a ex Beatle is George Harrison's All Things Must Pass.
