a few things.
1. any of the supreme court justices who vote against the bill should give up his/her healthcare paid by us, the taxpayers. sure, michele bachmann and the rest of them raise hell over this bill. i don't see them giving up their healthcare plans that their constituents pay for either.
2. anyone who votes for romney but hates the affordable healthcare bill is a fucking hypocrite and idiot. it's practically romneycare.
3. the bill's not perfect, but it's better than what we had beforehand.
4. if this bill is unconstitutional, just wait till they see the USA PATRIOT act. oh wait, they did, and had no problems with it at all. why? because fuck you, that's why. and 9/11.
5. we're amongst the richest countries in the world, yet cuba has better healthcare. that's right. THAT cuba. why the fuck do we have worse healthcare than most developed western countries? oh yeah, i forgot… this nation is full of shit-for-brains who still think our president is a muslim from africa who, at the same time, had been indoctrinated by a radical preacher for twenty years in a church.

it's a shame that those fucking idiots from the tea-party are against a social healthcare. it's like the most important thing for a modern country. if you drop this social-reform, i have to laugh over the americans so hard. would be the biggest fail of all time

Seems unamerican to force people to get insurance, it's not like a car when you in theory at least can opt not to have one.

Seems unamerican to force people to get insurance, it's not like a car when you in theory at least can opt not to have one. Yes, but up until about 10 years ago there weren't many conservatives calling it "unamerican" to for Health Insurance. Many top leaders even said that they would only accept Health Care with it, rather than without it. The plain fact of the matter is that it wasn't until a Liberal president took the advice of Conservatives that it became "unamerican". Having a Health Care system doesn't make sense if everyone doesn't buy in. I think this article explains the battle that's going on over Health Care: www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/editorials/story/2012-03-29/health-care-reform-ObamaCare/53875164/1

I think the bill is a step in a positive direction and i hope it does pass. I think those who don't agree with in should use civil disobedience to break it rather than a politicized court.

I would agree. I see the drawbacks of the bill, but it is a step in the right direction and many times sweeping laws are not passed in a giant bill, but in multiple bills overtime. I look at this bill as the beginning to a framework which will have more pieces added on later. I would rather have that than maybe going another 15-20 years before there's another president who's willing to step up and try to recreate the ground for when something like this can be passed.
