Thanks Jim - just ordered Noel and Arctic Monkeys records from French Amazon. Just Miles Kane left, I think.

Thanks for the links Jim! Ordered one for my friend who hasn't heard the b-sides. I hate being kind and generous.

Thanks for helping others, Jim I was just lucky to get the last copy of Noel's and Miles Kane's RSD vinyl in my shop. I ordered Plato one more copy of Noel's for my friend, but they emailed me that they don't have any stock anymore. I really hope those who couldn't find Noel's in their record shop and ordered at Plato will still be able to get their copies.

For what I read (I lived in France for six years), you have to choose first "Rapide" and then "Envoyer les articles en un minimum de colis" because the other option, they are going to send separate package when each vinyl is available, charging you more. But I don't see an option for UK, maybe someone who has already order can help you more.

It says the arctic monkeys R U MINE? is a cd single? Anyone have the amazon link for the vinyl? Or is it just a mistake?

You do realise the European edition isn't numbered? Just a word of warning when buying on Ebay as i've noticed the numbered edition is going for around £30-40 and a lot of descriptions on Ebay don't actually say whether or not it is the European edition. Just be careful when buying from Ebay about this.

I used google translate when ordering my non-numbered vinyl from Amazon and got my numbered vinyl for just over £30 on ebay.

Just received an e-mail from the site (Amazon-french)
"Hello,
We regret to inform you that we will not send you the following items within the time originally announced on our website:
Noel Gallagher'S High Flying Birds "Songs from the Great White North." Arrival date: 16 June 2012 - June 22, 2012" then rabble rabble, do you want to cancel order? etc.
Not canceled but delayed thankfully, anyone else get an email of sorts from the site?

I think its cool that they've put all the b-sides together but I would've much preferred a 2 track vinyl with Alone On The Rope & A Simple Game Of Genius, if I'm being honest.

That would have been good. Get two of his better, less known songs a bit more attention and to also get a physical copy of Alone On The Rope. I thought that it may have been released on the new Japanese tour edition but no luck there.

^That's what I did, hopefully that'll go smoothly.
I've actually never had a bad experience with Amazon before, but then I've never used them for strictly limited releases. Hearing they do this often isn't that surprising though, they probably don't take into account that there aren't many copies around and they won't be able to get many.

I read on french forums that Amazon.fr delivered the vinyl for french costumers one month ago. I think it was normal to send first for France and then, if there is some stock, to other countries.
