I know we all want to hear Live Forever, but we have got to be realistic, not all Oasis tunes are suitable for Liam to sing with Beady Eye, without Noels backing vocal and so on (sorry HFP ;p) I'm thinking those are realistic guesses, both in being BIG hits and being suitable for Liams voice: - Supersonic - Rock & Roll Star - Champagne Supernova - Cigarettes & Alcohol - Don't Go Away Then obviously they'd also pick Liam/Andy/Gem written tunes. - Songbird - Turn Up The Sun - To Be Where There's Live - I Believe In All - I'm Outta Time - Boy With The Blues - Guess God Thinks I'm Able - Born On A Different Cloud There's so many songs I wish they'd do, but if I had to pick 3 it would be:- Supersonic - Champagne Supernova - Songbird Champagne Supernove starting of with the sea noises would fit perfectly after the morning son, that would be so amazing!! And please don't do Wonderwall  |

I can't see Gem or Andy doing the guitar solos in Champagne Supernova. I hope they don't play that one.

I can't see Gem or Andy doing the guitar solos in Champagne Supernova. I hope they don't play that one. I don't think their guitar solos are that bad, and CS is one of the songs Noel could never pull of live...it's definitely an option imo. Rock 'n' Roll Star, Cigarettes & Alcohol, CS, maybe a BHN tune (My Big Mouth) sounds good enough. I think Supersonic, Wonderwall and also Whatever are out because Noel played them recently. Only problem I see with RNRS and C&A is Liam's voice, he really had problems doing RNRS live in the last years (still nailed CS in 2009, though). |

DEFINITELY supersonic IMO just because Noel's done a version, which while being quite good it just isn't really Supersonic... Liam still sounded allright singing it in 2009 so I'd love to hear him give it a go
I'm sure Liam will do Live Forever because he always said that it is the song he misses not singing and I think it is his favourite oasis tune. Apart from that, I don't know but we will probably hear turn up the sun and I'm outta time and perhaps songbird

That would be weird if both Noel and Liam did their versions of the same song. I'm not sure Liam can still pull off Supersonic today, though, and having them share a song begs for comparisons and more stupid fightring about who's better...I'd rather they avoided that. Live Forever would be great, it's pretty much the best Oasis song and it's a shame Noel isn't singing it with the HFB. |

This one's really tough to guess.
Realistically -meaning, trying to guess which songs could make it to the setlist-, I'd go for:
Live Forever
Champagne Supernova
Rock and Roll Star
I'm Outta Time
Songbird
But I'd be absolutely delighted if they come in with at least one curveball. Now that Noel's not in charge, they can surprise us with something like when Andy was insisting on playing My Big Mouth. How about some Gas Panic!, Columbia or Bring It On Down?

Who would sing the falsetto on Live Forever? No way they can play it, at least not with the same arrangement that Oasis did. They'd have to get the crowd to sing that part or something.

It will be weird to see Andy play Noel's guitar parts...  I love Liam and I want him to sing Oasis songs...but it only seems right, when Noel is on the right and playing the guitar... Who knows, maybe I'll be getting used to it sooner than I thought. |

I would be happy with one 'classic' such as Supersonic and then songs that got little or no play. Gas Panic would be awesome but would probably take too much time up for a festival setlist.

I personally can't imagine any Noel penned tunes because most of the ones I want to hear have been played so much, but basing on what Liam said they'll probably do them, also I would much rather hear Liam, Gem, and Andy Oasis songs as they've not been played as much, especially one like Guess God Thinks I'm Abel, when they performed that Liams voice was pretty bad.

Towards the end of Oasis, Noel's backing vocals got very annoying in my opinion, at times they weren't even backing vocals, he was basically singing half of the song and was higher up in the mix than Liam which was just stupid, take this for example: Noel basically sings the whole song, just leave Liam to it. Back on topic anyway, I think they'll include 2, maybe 3 Oasis songs which I think will be: Turn Up The Sun Songbird Rock 'N' Roll Star. |
