This shit is very old. Some BBC thing about oasis vs some band called new order? I have never heard about them so they must be fucking crap. Anybody know who they are?

you dont know new order ? . they're one of me fav band actually , they're good . they were called joy division untill the singer died ( ian curtis ) and they changed their name to new order , they've been around since ... late 70s ? .
some of their famous songs .. bizzare love triangle .. blue monday .. etc .. they're top

They're great in my opinion. Nobody'll ever top Oasis for me, but New Order are still top notch.

Like them or not, New Order has been around in one form or another for close to 30 years. Definitely not an "unknown shit band" but rather another great Manchester band...up there with the likes of the Smiths, Oasis, Stone Roses...etc.

They did a version of blue monday and that was it. THeir genre is called "industrial rock" I believe. Not competition for the lads.
