Don't get me wrong Noel's songwriting got oasis to where they are now but does anybody feel that Liam's song were the better ones on DBTT?Love like a bomb and GGTIA are very good songs. Not to mention I don't think Born On a Different Cloud and Songbird get enough recognition from people.Noel is still the man but I believe people should respect Liam's songwriting more than they do

I think Love Like a Bomb is the best song on the album

Liam is great. BOADC and songbird were the best on HC. Guess God Thinks I'm Abel is my faovirte on DBTT. Importance of Being Idle is a close second.
So he's getting up to Noel's level.

Personally i think turn up the sun is the best song on the new album and by far the best song for opening a concert they have ever had!

I think the importance of being idle and Let there be love are the songs that saved noel on the new album Lyla isn't too impressive and mucky fingers is also overrated don't get me wrong Noel has proven he is the better of the two as far as writing songs go but I believe again with the exception of The Importance of being idle which is my favorite song on the album Noel hasn't grown that much and Liams growth as far as songwriting goes hasn't been given enough credit

Love Like A Bomb and Guess God Thinks I'm Abel are great. Meaning of Soul is solid too, but shouldn't be played live in my opinion.

I think that although Liam's songs are night and day from Little James, he's getting alot of help from Gem to put them together. Noel's off for a pint of milk one night and comes off with Part of the Queue, a vastly underrated song in my opinion.
Someone said that between Liam & Noel's songs the album seemed like two solo efforts put together and it was a bit patchy. I disagree, I think it's sequenced very well.
When I take the ride to work in the morning I cram in TUTS, TIOBI, MOS, GGTIA, KTDA & stick Eyeball Tickler on at the end. The song I skip more than any other is MF. But hey we're all different!

Liam is relatively new to songwriting so probably finds it easier to get inspiration and doesnt feel like noel who has said so much of what he wanted too already in past songs. i love liams songs, and you are absolutely rihgt, fucking amazing growth as a songwriter, and i love his songs on dbtt - but they arent exactly live forever. i know its bringing up the past, but seriously, liam has a lot to prove before he achieves noel's status as a songwriter.
