A friend of mine went to Noels gig in Hamburg tonight and told me that Noel dedicated AKA WAL to Liam.
Noel: "I'd like to dedicate this next song to my brother Liam."

Noel: "Fuck off, he's the best human being in the world"
Did he ever do that? Just wondering.

If this is true, respect for Noel for sticking up for Liam when he got booed by some pricks, that's a nice touch from Noel- if it is true of course... Also you could say it might have been a jibe at LG saying what a life he is having after oasis and so on but I hope he really was saying something nice, they are brothers after all.

Just hazarding a guess here, but "Balotelli," when spoken by a man from the north of England into a microphone in a concert venue in Germany may sound a bit like "brother Liam."

I doubt Noel would say "my Balotelli" unless its Mario Balotelli. Not sure how people would confuse this though unless someone's concocting a story or if it is true (probably not).

I was there at the Hamburg gig and he definitely said Mario Balotelli. And he signed someone's Morning Glory LP (I think, well, he signed something anyway). Guess he was in a good mood  |

He walked over to the edge of the stage to sign someone's LP and I really think it was a MG LP. And after Talk Tonight he personally handed over his plectrum to someone at the front row (it was a seated gig, very weird).
