Quick question that some insiders might have the answer to. How do these demos get on the internet. Does Noel allow them to be released? Do they get 'stolen' from the recording studio and released? I do like having them to see what Noel is thinking but this perplexes me!

Some of the demos are officially released, some of them get leaked. Stolen? Maybe. It could just be that they get passed on from person to person starting from Noel, and it just gets into someone's hands who know how get them into trading circles and/or onto the Internet.

Thanks, Mr Monobrow! I guess Noel knows what its like to be be fan. I always wonder how much time he (or the group) puts into picking artwork, B-sides, videos etc.

Well I'm certainly of the opinion that the only reason we've seen demos on the last bunch of singles starting with The Hindu Times was because of the massive popularity of the SOTSOG demos bootleg.

It's a little known underground figure known as the "demoman". His job is to go round all studios and nick demos b4 anyone knows any better.
