If it's true it's great cause they'll certainely try a new setlist. We can expect some new songs ( at least 1) and some Oasis songs.

Wow. Wonder if they're planning to release the album at around the same time. Would certainly be a summer treat if they can improve on the 1st record.

So excited! this should mean the album won't be too long I always get excited before a tour to see what the setlist will be, what the stage and lighting will be like etc. a bit wierd I know but it interests me.

Wow, that's a bolt from the blue. Didn't expect any live shows from BDI this year, or not until the back end of the year at the earliest. Exciting news indeed. My hairdresser cuts Andy Pilley's hair (Owner of Fleetwood Town FC.) During the small talk whilst he was snipping away last week, Andy Pilley bumped into Liam in a hotel in Dubai recently. Apparently Liam's ever expanding gut is back. Hope he manages to get back into shape ready for the 2nd album and tour.

Not sure if this is official confirmation but.... 22 new artists including BEADY EYE, ELVIS COSTELLO AND THE IMPOSTERS, JACK WHITE, THE SPECIALS and others added to the line up! www.smash-uk.com/frf12/news.php?id=15We could get a summer release after all, definitely have new songs in the set by then.

Definitely confirmed then. Anyone else think they are doing a few festivals to warm up for supporting the Roses for the UK tour? I reckon the album will be out around September with the first single being released in July/August.

Also I'd bet this is just a 1 off for Beady Eye & that they were booked ages ago. I can't see a new album until next year. Nor any Oasis songs. The most we will get is maybe a new song & a different set list. Good news they are playing live though.

Well they are definitely recording tracks at the minute after demoing late last year and the rumours are recording is almost done. So if that's the case, an album could easily be mixed by Summer. However due to lack of UK festival appearances so far (IE. Isle Of Wight, T In The Park & V) I cant see them having anything out yet, we will probably get a single around late Summer and an album later in the year but I definitely think there will be a Beady Eye record in 2012.

Cant see them going to Japan without any new material out, at least a single.
Plus if they support the Stone Roses in the UK, they have to have new material out. And seeing the AA album was pushed back, maybe that was to make room for BDI after all.

i think they can't play the gig without at least a new single or maybe, if we're lucky, with the new album

they have to release a new single or something for this gig! i think its safe to say that this will only be a warmup gig, as if they were touring it would've been announced. my guess is an autumn release, say august/september

I think this'll be more like Oasis doing South American festivals in early 2001 - pretty much a holiday with some fun gigs with the pressure off attached. I don't think we'll get anything new but we'll get good performances. I also don't think this means a new album is any closer than we'd thought.

Good shout but do we reckon we will at least get 2/3 Oasis tunes in the setlist?
