Does anybody else find this programme a joke? What a set of media trained uncool fools!! People have the cheek to slag Liam but at least he speaks his mind and looks mega cool while he's doing it!! Plus nobody has any idea how much it pains me to see Ed shearan beat Noel to a award!! I know Noel won't be bothered and neither will most on here but it just ain't right!! Music is officially dead!!!

No mate, it's dead!! Jesse j, rhianna, ed shearan, tiny tempah, labrinth! And they are to just name a few!! I was reading a interview with Noel and he was saying how there isn't that one person out there that people want to be, we have had, Ryder, Ian Brown ,Weller, Liam!! I don't think there will ever be anybody in that mold again, I Definatly won't be booking in at the hairdressers for my hair dying ginger!!

Probably not and although music and popular culture on the whole are fucking sickeningly shit atm and has been for a while! Music won't be completely dead with the likes of Noel/Liam, kasabian, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, Miles Kane, Tame Impala etc to name just a few still around.
Definitely agree about the way people dress now though! Chinos? Shaving both sides of your hair? Snowflake jumpers? FUCK OFF!

really a shame Noel didn't win anything and perhaps even worse, the fact that Noel was basically upstaged by Blur, Adele, and everyone else who performed to be frank. That would've never been the case with Liam there but hey.... yes, i understand that wasn't an option, i'm just saying. Also Oasis would've never been caught dead "collaborating" with Chris gayass Martin. such a shame...

There weren't many great performances by other artists. Blur weren't that good. They were decent on a couple of songs, but they were a let down tonight. Noel, Adele, and a couple of others were definitely the highlights of the night imo. |

I don't know if you do that but not everyone else does it. i was talking about in terms of expectations, he wasn't the main, nor one of the main reasons people tuned in. |

I didn't watch the Brits last night (am not sure if we could catch it overhere).
Personally I've never paid attention to all those awards. It's good if my favorite bands/singers receive what they deserve, but to me it's not such a big deal.
Music isn't dead, at least good music isn't.

Blur were alright, Song 2 was a bit shockin' though. Noel was definitely my highlight of the show now that I've heard it again, no one was really bad but due to the song choice Adele was boring.

I noly watched it for noel,being a huge fan etc,he was the best on it by far,i've always liked blur,they made a lot of good songs but live they're shit,people used to slag off oasis,if they reformed & ended the show it'd have been waaaaaaaaaay better.
Rihanna was okay & adele,though i think adele has made some ok songs i dont see the huge deal with her,overall the brit awards was shit,noel dont care about awards i think it's a matter of having new artists recognised,the 90's were waaaaaaaay better though,100% better.
