He said this in the same interview : Q :What are people’s misconceptions of you? A : That everything that comes out of my mouth is serious. He changes his mind every week, and he doesn't even mean a lot of things he says, he just likes to tease the press. He's never going to say what he's going to do in the next years with Blur or Gorillaz because he doesn't even know, and if he knew, he still wouldn't say. Graham's more reliable on that aspect, and he said anything can happen. By the way, the Dr. Dee album is fantastic and everyone should give it a listen.

Which is why, among other reasons, Graham is my favorite. Of course, number one reason being he is a fabulous guitar player. Some good solo tunes/albums too!

Damon Albarn is a guy who takes things as they come. Maybe he doesn't think there is much mileage in them anymore, but personally lots of us disagree, especially after hearing that fabulous new track Under The Westway which is beautiful.
Ideally, if Blur were to make a new album, it would centre around the very English feel of their 'Life' trilogy albums but more mature sounding and less poppy. I think that would sound great. And anyway, Damon and Graham have shown plenty of versatality in the last decade or so to prove they're still something special so I think it would work quite easily.

A bit off topic...but anyway, Damon Albarn will have a secret gig somewhere in Amsterdam next Friday. You can only be there if you win a ticket. You can also watch his performance live and later online on www.3voor12.nl.
