Noel has obviously said how great he thinks the AA stuff is, but have the compliments been the other way round at all?......from what ive read they seem a bit up their own arty arses.

That thread was a shit read. However, it does show once again that people are simply into different styles of music. If you are not into someone else's style, then they don't comprehend your infatuation. All those posters are die-hard AA fans like we are all hear for Oasis. the musical streams of thought are so vastly different that we can't truly comprehend what the other is thinking. It's kinda weird to be honest.

I stopped reading after about the seventh post when I read something along the lines of 'these people have never listened to anything more experiemental than Standing on the Shoulder of Giants'; way to patronise and pigeon hole.

I'm very optimistic about this AA collaboration. I haven't listened to a lot of their stuff but this song alone makes me really hopeful, can't get enough of it.
Also, they don't strike me as the type of people who would sell out so to speak to gain popularity from a collaboration with Noel, they obviously like his work.
