According to Felix White of the Maccabees (per the Sun as a disclaimer) Noel is going to playing with the Maccabees @ the NME awards?

Do you think that means sharing a stage @ the same time? or just that they will both be playing @ the same award ceremony.

That was actually the reason for this story.

This was the woman the posted that this White guy was slating Noel when talking about not liking the Britpop band who spouted off or whatever. She snagged that from some other interview I think.

From the story it sounds as if she was contacted by someone connected with the Maccabees to clarify that the definitely weren't talking about Noel and wanted a retraction printed.
