Has anyone heard this fine Australian band yet? I heard their single, "Girls" last year, which was a fantastic ride of psychedelic, 60s inspired pop, and now they've announced a new single, "Steam," and their debut album is due in March. If you wanna stream their music, click on the link and like them on Facebook. Great stuff! www.facebook.com/deepseaarcade?sk=app_178091127385

Yeah I love them, they're great. They supported Noel in Sydney, gutted they weren't support for Melbourne too.

The album is now available to download and the physical CD is out shortly. I'm really loving this album so I'm posting another reply, hoping to kickstart this thread and get people on this forum to give this band a shot.

Girls wasn't bad, but it was Lonely in Your Arms that actually makes me want to listen to the whole thing, I'll most likely find myself a copy of the album, it's such a smooth and perfect extension from the Drums which I've been so into now. Steam also really caught my attention, Don't be Sorry lost it a little, . Can't guarantee my posting here will attract any more attention, I was nominated for worst newcomer , but if the albums good (assuming I find it), I'll give it another shot. I could be loooonely, I could be lonely in your arms, catchy as fuck people

I believe the CD gets physically released in Australia tomorrow (March 16th), but for those of us that don't wanna shell out $25 for the import, the album is available to download for $8.99. There's also another tune of theirs called "Keep On Walking" floating around out there that is a B-side and is not going to be on the album.

Gave them a listen because of this thread. Really enjoyed 'Girls', 'Lonely In Your Arm's' was decent to, will give their album a go when it becomes available.

Gave them a listen and they seem to be really good - very Beatles-influenced, of course, and not unlike Oasis. Good combination

Definitely an influence there, but they remind me more of a Charlatans/Bluetones mix. Toss in that British 60s sound, i.e. The Hollies, a little shoegaze, and you've got Deep Sea Arcade.
Nice to see some of you peeps giving them a shot...now go listen to The Broken Vinyl Club and see if they deserve some of the same accolades, as well!

Given their album a quick listen, really really like what I've heard so far.
