This photo of Liam wearing an Adidas Spezial Jacket was posted a few days ago. The jacket launched yesterday and it sold out within seconds on every single online store. Despite the fact that Liam neither looks happy in it nor wears a size that actually fits. Perfect example of the marketing potential PG lost in the last years without Liam... http://instagr.am/p/By1wjuzh8CH Liam, blink twice if you are being held hostage.

wow. That's horrific. Not surprised Liam stopped wearing it. They'll be selling paisley print shell suits next.

I still love the clothes. My wardrobe is now officially all Pretty Green, about 80 items now ! I get a lot off ebay now, you do get some shrunken 'large' tops which is a shame. Just got a brand new hoodie (Bit like the tracksuit tops) which was brand new for about £15 which is superb.
I hardly buy any brand new stuff from PG, just in the sales or ebay now. Met some bloke the other day in Wokingham who was chatting about Pretty Green (as i had a few tops on !). Had that happen quite a few times now, good to chat to fellow fans

Love how the clothing looks but do people really buy this often? The quality is shit. Always shrinking regardless of how you wash it.

Weird never had any trouble with shrinkage or quality issues, in fact I still have every item I bought in new enough condition after years of wearing (all except the red t shirt with large apple on which faded on some mental wash my ex wife did lol)

After nearly 3 months, the sale finally comes to an end tonight. Looks like they still sit on tons of unsold clobber: most items are still easily available in many sizes.

So far away from the original concept that I have no interest in them whatsoever now. I’ve had the White Label promo pictures retweeted on my timeline this week but it doesn’t look that exciting at all either.

So far away from the original concept that I have no interest in them whatsoever now. Same for me. Haven't bought anything in a while and won't do it again if they don't go back to their roots. I’ve had the White Label promo pictures retweeted on my timeline this week but it doesn’t look that exciting at all either. We'll probably get a Stone-Island-like overhead jacket in about 10 different colours. The question is whether it'll be some high quality stuff like early Black Label or the MIE collection Liam promoted around the AYW album launch or just more of that fast fashion tat they released in the past couple of years.

This was the last item I bought, and that was at Christmas. www.atomretro.com/product_info.cfm?product_id=31767&d=pretty-green-millfield-60s-mod-bonded-parka-khakiI used to buy one or two items a month at the start, up till 2013/14 but after that the difference in quality was so noticeable. The early black label was immense, I couldn’t wear it personally but it was still something to see in the original Glasgow store. The green label was of a fantastic quality back then, even compared to the current or last black label lines. I really wanted the Made In England Harrington, that and the first edition parkas were constantly sold out which showed the popularity and the fact Liam was wearing them. I’ll never understand why they did a survey a year or so ago and not take on board the issues which were highlighted... size of range, quality issues and the sizing which was all over the place.

The early black label was immense, I couldn’t wear it personally but it was still something to see in the original Glasgow store. The green label was of a fantastic quality back then, even compared to the current or last black label lines. That's exactly the problem. And GL used to be really affordable back then. I really wanted the Made In England Harrington, that and the first edition parkas were constantly sold out which showed the popularity and the fact Liam was wearing them. I've got the MIE parka and I never regretted buying it. It's 100% early BL quality, something they haven't released for years before that collection. As they sold out so fast, they kept on producing them over and over again and 2 years later the same cuts (with a few different colours) are still available (except the Harrington and the M65): www.prettygreen.com/edits/made-in-england/ A perfect example how to ruin a brand by mass-producing items that were once supposed to be limited editions. I’ll never understand why they did a survey a year or so ago and not take on board the issues which were highlighted... size of range, quality issues and the sizing which was all over the place. I suppose the brand is already too damaged to suddenly go back to where they've been. Even if they'd want to do so, such a turnaround would take years. And who knows what their planes really are? The fact that they've completely abandoned BL is not a good sign. Plus they don't have LG showcasing the stuff anymore, so it'll be much harder to sell high quality items that are a bit more expensive and not 50% down for months.

I wonder if LG was open to staying on board after the administration for a fee? Like as a consultant or minority owner.

I doubt they were interested in having him in for more than wearing the stuff. And the question is whether he'd really wear the clobber they release nowadays. The fact that he's barley been seen in PG in the last 3, 4 years though he could have taken whole collections with him speaks volumes.

Are these going to be as difficult to get as Yeezy boost? Probably. And people will pay outrageous prices on Ebay. I don't share the hype. In the end it's just a white trainer.
