I was just gonna ask is Liam still with Pretty Green? I hardly hear him mention it or where it anymore. He hawked it pretty hardcore 2009 to 2013.

He’s been wearing the new Ventile parkas a lot lately, the one with the union flag trim on the hood and a couple of other unreleased coats here and there.

I was just taking a look here and I think Liam may have sold his shares on Pretty Green. beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/05914755/filing-historyEdit: after reading the piece of news above, he probably just owns a small piece of Pretty Green now. Still, he probably made a lot of money by now from PG.

Cool to see that he’s still majority shareholder.

He hawked it pretty hardcore 2009 to 2013. this is what Liam said in an interview for the French Rolling Stone less than 2 months ago: What is Liam Gallagher's daily life like? LG: Whatever happens, I get up at 6 am and I'll run. I try to stay fit, it is important if you do not want to decreprate faster than expected. Then I take the children to school. I go back, I take my breakfast, I'll walk, coo with Debbie, I take care of my Pretty Green brand ...

Speaking to one of the guys who manages the Liverpool store and he mentioned Liam mainly gets involved in the black label stuff and leaves the green label up to the usual designers etc. For example soklme of the black label shirts will have longer collars as thats what he prefers and other things like he asked for vents underneath the arms of that black and white patterned hoodie he wears in lyrics book of the album. They sell too much stuff now compared to what they did in the first few years for him to be involved in everything.

Think its more a case of him going through a phase of thinking its cool not to wear his own brand rather than there being anything behind it. Even though almost all of the pretty green jackets are nicer than that stone island one.

Totally off subject, when Liam was in Luke Skywalker mode and Noel was promoting Chasing Yesterday, didnt he actually go in the Pretty Green Japan and sign a guitar for them?
Then he mentioned he seen the store in Japan when he was on Alan Carr Show and mentioned how well it was doing for Liam. At that time it made me think that all of the split, or at least the severity of it, was a big smoke screen.

Who/what was Pretty Green Paisley Submarine exactly? I've seen that name many times but didn't pay much attention. Is it a guy who designed a range of clothing for Pretty Green? No,he is/was "just" a Twitter user who spent an awful lot of time tweeting all the new items (most of them leaked before official arrival!). I was just gonna ask is Liam still with Pretty Green? I hardly hear him mention it or where it anymore. He hawked it pretty hardcore 2009 to 2013. live4ever.proboards.com/post/1408246/thread

BTW, if you have the time to look around, it's interesting to see how many Oasis-related business exist. Of course, Noel and Liam are still co-owners and the major stockholders of both Big Brother Ltd. and Oasis Merchandising Ltd, which will forever be a large source of income for them. What's curious is that there was a 3rd Oasis-related company called Noise and Confusion LLP, which was formed in January 2009 (just a little bit before Noel left Oasis) by Noel, Liam, Gem and Andy. It was dissolved just a few months ago.
Being rich must feel awfully good.

Interesting bit that. Kinda shows that they were still thinking in the long term a few months before the split ...and then Noel realised that he'd have to split not only with his brother but two more guys and decided to leave and cash in without any other participants

Big Brother is the company Liam and Noel created to publish their songs after Creation sank. It was created in 2000 and SOTSOG was the 1st record published under the Big Brother umbrella. However, over the 00s, Noel and Liam smartly started to buy the rest of the Oasis catalogue from what was left of Creation, and now Big Brother owns the entire Oasis discography. That also means that, against common belief, Liam actually makes almost as much money from the Oasis catalogue as Noel, since both brothers have an equal stake at Big Brother. Of course Noel gets a bit more since a part of the money that enters Big Brother pays his royalties, but even then Liam still makes a lot of money from, say, DLBIA. Putting things into perspective, I wouldn't be surprised if this arrengement made Noel bitter on the long run. It was an easy, painless solution at a time records still sold easily and 2 original members of the band. However, as the time went by, it must have been hard for Noel to swallow that Liam makes almost as much money as him from songs like Wonderwall.

@ Just Call Me The Roller: Don't confuse the rights in the recordings (master rights) and author's rights (publishing rights). Liam may own through his stake in Big brother half of the master rights, but Noel is the sole composer/writer of DLBIA an gets ALL the roaylties collected through copyright collection societies. He's the one who makes money each time it is played on the radio. Now you know why David Holmes doesn't have any writing credits on WBTM although he seems to have done more than producers usually do

Yes, Liam does get money from DLBIA. In fact, recently, just like Noel, Liam donated his share from DLBIA to the Manchester Arena bombing victims.

I think it was mentioned during the One Love fiasco that Liam gets performer royalties as a member of Oasis on DLBIA - no clue if he'd make any more than the rest of the band sans Noel.
Also wasn't Noise and Confusion LLP the company created specifically for touring Oasis?
