I'm exactly the same re slim cut. I'm 6'5 and broad shouldered, usually wear an XL but the new cuts are now annoyingly tight on some styles.

Thankfully the two poIos listed above have fitted me no problem but I quite liked the look of this but it was too tight when I tried it on in store, bigger size has been sold out for ages so I ended up picking up a knitted Fred Perry instead as it was a regular fit. www.prettygreen.com/products/mens-tarland-knitted-polo-1104/?color=black&size=s

Cheers for the tips about other places, there's only a few times where i've looked on other sites and usually it's the same price as on the PG site or maybe a little more so a few of those sites are handy to know, wish I thought of it earlier as I wanted this shirt www.prettygreen.com/products/mens-jimi-floral-ls-shirt-914/?color=white&size=m but was out of stock and then on my spree last night I seen the polo of it back in stock so snapped it up www.prettygreen.com/products/mens-jimi-floral-ss-polo-907/?color=white&size=m but going by your tips I could have bought the bloody shirt elsewhere and because i'm a lazy sod I can't be arsed cancelling the polo to get the shirt and there's no chance i'm having a polo and shirt with exactly the same design As for the sizing I agree it is a bit all over the place, I started off with medium but a few things were a little too tight so moved to large for a few years but now i'm having to go back to medium again which is a pain but in terms of the quality of items in 8/9 years of buying PG I have only binned 4 t-shirts because either the colour has faded or I have managed to rip it, even with the jeans usually a pair lasts me 2 years before they need binning but i've got a pair i've had for 4 years and been worn and washed god knows how many times and still look as good as the day I bought them, so even if I paid full price for everything I would have had my moneys worth which is rare for me I like you Jim buy a lot of PG stuff and think it takes up about 75-80% of my wardrobe So it may look like i'm a PG whore and I do try and buy stuff that doesn't have a big logo on it bar the odd tee but it's the only brand where I get years of wear from, Ralph Lauren used to be my main one but I've found the last 5 years or so they are nowhere near as good and the big pony they have on most stuff now really winds me up too

Got about 5 or 6 pairs and as you say they last for ages before they get too worn. Love that they have the 1% polyurethane in them so they have a bit of stretch and don't feel like they're going to rip every time you move like some other jeans I've had in the past.

I'd echo that about the jeans. Got two pairs of PG jeans and they are great quality. One pair I bought from PG in Manchester in 2013, wear them all the time and they are still like new.

Glad to see others like the jeans too I really like PG stuff too because unless you go to a Noel/Beady Eye (obviously not anymore with them) people will compliment the stuff but you rarely see anyone wearing it so it's a bit of an individual thing for me too considering the quality, even when I go back home to Manchester I don't see too many people wearing it

If I have chinos that are perfect size for me, what are the odds that Pretty Green ones with the same size will fit me?
They're having 50% sale and I kinda need new ones. I've never bought jeans/chinos without trying them first.
e. The size I'm looking for is 34w 32l but apparently those chinos are only 34w so it's probably not that accurate.

Saw that; should be good!! Really? I take it it's some sort of Beatles range? Innovation would be better.

the size guides recommend S for 38' chest...would you say a XS should fit better?

Pretty Green has now been launched in the Netherlands as well, apparently.
Thought I'd share.

How involved are you with your fashion label, Pretty Green, these days? (pete2ndbest)I still do a little bit. I pop in there once a month just to make sure it’s all good. The stuff they do is more for the kids I think, it’s tight fitting, and that’s not for me. We’re trying to develop a white label at the moment, which is more my size, my style. The majority of it I leave to Pat Salter, who does all the designing. That fashion thing, it’s like a collection every fucking minute… I went to see one the other day and it’s for 2019. I’m like: “I haven’t seen the 2017 one yet.” But I get a proper buzz off it. While I wasn’t doing any music, it was important. Because it’s still creating. And they’re mint clothes, man. www.theguardian.com/music/2017/jun/04/liam-gallagher-interview-rock-n-roll-saved-my-life-oasis-beady-eyeImho, nowadays they're doing way to many (unexceptional) pieces a collection and the stuff seems to be in constant sale, too. Time for a turnaround.

Sounds like Liam saves every coat he's worn, yet these days only wears that one coat.

BAD NEWS:
Pretty Green Paisley Submarine
RIVER SPLASHES AGAINST THE ROCKS// they say all good things come to an end, well sometimes all rubbish things come to end also... the time has been reached to call it quits with the Paisley Submarine community, I hope everyone has enjoyed the last four and a half years of things flavoured Pretty Green and everything else.
I have to say a massive thanks to Pretty Green and a number of fantastic people at the brand. They are a shy lot there and don't like to be singled out, but they know who they are and the gratitude is eternal. A right good bunch. I also have to say thanks to various people at so many other brands who've been helpful over the years. Phil, the star will shine on....
Obviously a massive thanks to the community of page users, without you folks it would have been rather shit really wouldn't it. So many have contributed either via sending on links, spotting deals to share, sharing news, sending on photos or even going out of the way to film various things exclusively for the page (Mark), the list of names is far too long to go through, but you know who you are and I salute you all collectively!
Now, I am an arsehole, so I can never say never to coming back, I may find life is just rather too dull without blogging, but it's not in the plans....for now. I'll leave the pages open so everyone can access the various threads and photos for reference and all that stuff.
I'll be continuing to buy and wear Pretty Green, it's a good brand and as they close in on their 10th anniversary in 2019 I'm sure they've got some fantastic stuff up their sleeves for us all.
Right, that's enough trash talk
Peace&Love&Mercy, theSub
PG will only be half as interesting without this top guy... I hope he's alright. Anybody knows him?

Who/what was Pretty Green Paisley Submarine exactly? I've seen that name many times but didn't pay much attention. Is it a guy who designed a range of clothing for Pretty Green?

I love the Archer trainers but they always fall apart within 3 months which I find really bad for £60.
