For some reason I still wish there would be a string section too, but I think a choir and brass section will do.
I wonder how or if these changes will affect the set list.

Surely he's gotta play ASGOG, with a choir?

Come on Noel, the time has commeth to release Going Nowhere to the masses. I also think Don't go Away would be great with a full choir.

The only problem I have with DGA is that vocally it's hard to pull off. Noel has never really done it amazingly well live. I mean it was task even for Liam at the height of his voice.

At least it will make a difference when you look back on the bootlegs

Yeah I agree, Liam's Don't go Away at the G-MEX in 97 is the most impressive Liam vocal for me and anyone would struggle to replicate that including Liam now of course. I still think Noel with a choir could be a memorable moment singing DGA. The song has a bit of attitude which I think is slightly lacking with the HFB album and his current set list.

Yeah Going Nowhere would be perfect with the choir!! You would think The Masterplan will be back as well.

I knew it!! Good news! I will have seen 2 incarnates of the HFB's live band.
Apart from the album tracks, the set list is bound to change too :-)

I'll bet they do LTLSALOM.
Noel was doing it in sound check at a couple venues...and with them bringing vocalist with them they could pull off the outro...be it with full choir or just couple with microphones pulled out.
Would love him to play ASGOG...it would give the set a bit more attitude.
The Masterplan would be great with choir. And I'd love Slide Away to be added to the acoustic section (if I say it enough maybe it'll happen)
And they should definitely start with EOTR when they have the choir there. What a dramatic starting that would be!
Can't wait for the bootlegs!

Haha... Bootlegs...
I'm going with my mum, and I've already told her, if he doesn't play Freaky Teeth, I'll cry... A lot.
Has anyone got their O2 tickets yet?

In my opinion playing 'A Simple Game of Genius' is a must. I can't believe he didn't have it in the setlist from the start. The piano intro is great and the guitars solos would bring a lot of punch, especially in the upcoming arena tour. The soundcheck version sounded so massive with all the guitars turned up to 11. I hope Noel finally unleashes it.
