I was just listening to the Rolling Stones' "Sweet Virginia" off Exile on Main Street, and really noticed how great that harmonica is at the start of the song.
I'm also a big fan of the harmonica solo in Mucky Fingers. A somewhat nontraditional technique for Oasis but one that worked really well IMO.
I also love that morose, lonely harmonica at the end of Soldier On.
What are some standout harmonica moments for you? Oasis and whatever else?

One of my top 10 John Farnham songs. Huge fan of the way Stewart Fraser plays on this song from the first time John sings Chain Reaction and that solo, I'm still shaking my head to how he did it.

Love absolutely these:
"Hand In Glove" - The Smiths (harmonica played by my forever guitar hero) "The Swamp Song" - Oasis (harmonica played by Weller)

Isn't the solo in Gas Panic! a harmonica? That part's awesome.

The best harmonica solo I've ever heard is in "Hook" by Blues Traveler. The song has harmonica throughout but the solo is mind-blowing truly. John Popper is a fat, fuck, but he can make a harmonica do things that guitarist can't do. Check it out.
Solo at 2:30 . . .
It should be noted that Blues Traveler makes liberal use of harmonica in most of their tunes.

I Won't Share You - The Smiths
Right at the very end, understated but perfect end to The Smiths career. Also, arguably my favourite Beatles tune, Please Please me.

The harmonica solo on The Meaning of Soul is a standout IMO.

The solo in the fantastic Tougher Than The Rest by Bruce is my favourite:

Various live versions of Baba O'Reilly & the Magic Bus by The Who. Roger Daltrey was an under rated harmonica player in general IMO.
