What are your thoughts on the Stone Roses? To me they may be my second favorite band behind Oasis, that first album is just damn near perfect. The Second Coming is good as well. If I lived in Europe I would've totally bought tickets to see them

I like them just as much as Oasis by now. Their debut is as good as DM and MG, Second Coming is their Be Here Now and Turns Into Stone has some great b-sides. It's a shame they don't have more albums, but what they have is pure gold. Their early live performances are shockingly good too, hope they come to Germany for some gigs this year so I can finally see them! Another thing I love about the Roses - unlike Oasis which was the 2 Gallaghers + exchangable rest, every member of the Roses is a genius. Ian, John, Mani and Reni equal perfection in my book.

The Stone Roses are underrated if anything.
Considering they only released one great album and half a great album they have a great backlog of songs.

My 3rd favourite band, album 1 is just flawless. Went to Oxford to see a tribute act at the Zodiac in 2008, great night. Travelling abroad to see them in July... Thats how good they are
