Seeing as the mods are simply ignoring my polite request for my old account to be reactivated I might as well post this on this account. These lot are a great band and are the best new band out there for me. They're called Likely Lads and sound like a mix of Oasis, The Cribs, The Libertines, The Roses, The Smiths and The Strokes. Check them out and like their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/LikelyladsbandEvery one of the 13 tunes on their YouTube page sound class but Life, Big Dreams, You Only Regret (The Things You Don't Do) and especially Time Will Tell are anthems. Give them a listen and I promise that you won't be disappointed.

Really like them on first impression. A bit like the Kooks on their debut. Great melodies, great sound. What You're Waiting For in particular is a TUNE. Is there any way to get their music without letting them into my facebook account?

Is there any way to get their music without letting them into my facebook account? What I did was just share the link like you have to to download the songs but then I just deleted it from my wall straight after. Only two of the tunes are available for free download from their Facebook anyway so I just got the rest from Youtube by using one of the youtube to mp3 websites. I've been playing those 13 songs for the last few days non stop on iTunes and I'm still not sick of them!

I always feel a little surprised when other people post similar threads to mine to better response. I guess they have the advantage of not having posted the 'What if Noel and Liam were gay?' thread, but still..
I've liked these guys for a while too. My criticisms are really a lack of variety in their songs, but their newer ones seem a little different at least, that will hopefully get better with time.
They do sound like the Libertines (for anyone interested) , but I very much doubt that with their current material they could make an Inside In/ Inside Out, or even Up the Bracket - the potential is there though.

Saw these guys supporting Shed Seven at The 02 in Leeds, they was ok, looked a bit timid, and songs were a bit samey, but I enjoyed their set.
