The only thing I don't like about Ed is that the radio edits are more bearable. Otherwise the songs go on for ages and ages. It's like they had to chunk 2 minutes out. He's hit and miss too as there's the very nice relaxed tunes, and then there's the ones about fucking in an elevator. I think there is a mixed demographics aswell. James Blake is nice too, surprises me how he even got nominated as he wasn't a huge chart hit.

It USED to be shown on BBC America every year, but then the channel went to the dogs and is now completely different to what it was 5 years ago. The last one being the one Oasis were the Best Contribution to Music winners. But no, it won't be shown this year most likely.

Can the fans vote for all the awards or can they only vote in the Best Breakthrough Act, The Best Single, and Best British Group category?
If the best Male Artist category isn't voted by fans, then he may have a chance. If it's a fan vote then he's screwed.

Congrats to Noel on the Brits Nomination. He definitely deserves it. Hopefully the rumor is true and he'll also be performing. That would probably lead to great boost for him in record sales and exposure. great news and congrats to him. I never really understood why he wouldn't get a nomination, or why some of you thought it was a long shot. He had the numbers(went #1), he's still relevant in England and the record was generally well received by the critics there too. I'd have thought he was a shoe in.

I get that you don't like them, but that's different than saying they don't deserve the ward. The deserve that award. It's hard to not notice Blur's impact on British music. I have no problem with them getting the award.

THat has nothing to do why i think they're not deserving of the award. Maybe i am wrong in defining what the award embodies.

This would be the perfect opportunity for Noel to play his next single before a large audience. It could really give 'Dream On' a huge jolt to crash the Top 10, especially if he takes home an award. Could be a big moment in Noel's solo career.

Noel is notorious for not turning up to awards shows unless he's won something. As he's performing, I would assume that he's won Best Male. Also, Ed Sheeran will most likely win Best Breakthrough so I doubt he'd win both. after all the Brits will give an award to anyone who'll turn up.
