I heard Wessex Boy on XFM, and really liked it. So I just downloaded his most recent album - England Keep My Bones. It's gotten very good reviews.
Anyone know anything about him? Like him?

I like England Keep My Bones quite a bit. I Still Believe and Peggy Sang The Blues are fantastic tunes. The album could be a little more consistent but the high points are very high for me.

I've been a massive fan for nearly four years. He's my joint favourite artist along with Oasis. A fantastic songwriter, a brilliant performer and a very polite and humble individual.
Give his second album 'Love Ire & Song' a listen. There's a CD of it bundled with 'The First Three Years', an early rarities collection, which you can usually find for a very reasonable price.

I just feel the need to bump this thread.
Yesterday I went to a Frank Turner concert and I have to say it was probably the best concert I've ever been to.
How is everyone liking his new album btw? I do like it, but not as much as I love England Keep my Bones and Love, Ire And Song.
Frank Turner is an extraordinary musician, lyricist and person.

I just feel the need to bump this thread. Yesterday I went to a Frank Turner concert and I have to say it was probably the best concert I've ever been to. How is everyone liking his new album btw? As much as I'd love to go to another concert with you NL4E, I just got back from PA and can't afford more tickets back yet. Plus I'm saving up for the next Gallagher concert. I saw Frank in Brooklyn earlier this year. He was so good live that I'm going to see him again, at Terminal 5 in November.
