you don't need to know noel personally to assess whether his publically made comments are true or not.
I assume he is judging by his past record of public statements in which, according to 'bignose' noel has been mistaken. I am not arguing on behalf of bignose' claim here, rather against your claim that one need to know someone personally to assess the validity of their publically made statements.

you know him personally do you? obviously he doesn't, but he's right that Noel does talk shit a lot... but we love noel for that definitely not their last album.... a $10m carrot dangling in front of them in the form of a record deal.... what would you do?! |

It's no secret that the band apparently had some 65/66 songs from the DBTT sessions. I wouldn't be surprised if they had an albums worth of material.

yea once they sign a record deal the company will want an album out pronto. plus, if the american tour goes well and the album spawns a few hits, then a quick follow up and they'll be back on top

I hope the next album is a double-disc one, kind of like a white album of the 21rst century. And then it'd be the one that made them a classic world wide, not just to us fans, but to everyone, and Zak could sing a song, like Ringo did, and everyone would talk about Oasis 24/7 and they'd say "oh they're so great", and "oh I'm so stupid, I should've gotten into them before, just like that oh so handsome guy from school who kept going on about them" and the world would be a happy place.

I just hope that middle or fall 2006 we'll see new Oasis album. I keep my fingers crossed for something bigger than this 43 minutes set of "DbTT". They promised something long and big and I think that this time, for fuck's sake they should deliver it.  |

I just hope for it. Noel said that they scrapped double album. I hope he wasn't lying and will be keen on making follow-up quickly. Then again I heard that he is plotting solo release. I hope that he will bind the two recording sessions. If he is keen on making solo album, I hope that he will be as keen as this to make another Oasis record(s).
