It's got some great, great moments on it. I have the Best Of so I was already familiar with Coffee and TV, Tender, and No Distance Left to Run (Tender is alright but the other two are spectacular).
Now I've just got a hold of the 13 album from the public library and there are some startling songs on here...1992, Trimm Trabb, Trailer Park, Caramel. They're so interesting and almost eerie sounding, particularly 1992. I can see early markers of the Gorillaz in Trailer Park as well.
But then you get some weird numbers like Bug Man, Swamp Song (anything to do with Oasis?), BlurEMI...and I'm not sure what to make of those. Seems to be the pattern in Blur albums (to me anyways), where you get moments of brilliance and moments of just "ok...next track". Maybe there's more to those than meets the eye (ear?), but am I alone in thinking that?

Love it, one of my fave albums of all time, so strange and trippy(for lack of a better/cooler word). I really love the singles but they dont really fit in that well with the rest of the album. The only one I dont like is Bugman. The best ones for me would be Caramel, 1992,trimtrab and Battle

I love Swamp Song, one of my all-time favourite Blur songs. It plays at the end of the No Distance Left To Run documentary

I quit like 13, I liked some of the experimentations on it, but it is also too inconsistent, self-indulgent and some tracks are throwaway. Much like SOTSOG.

No Distance Left To Run is one of my all time favourite songs! I think its a great album, minus Bugman. My fave Blur album is Think Tank.

13 is awesome. Tender, Coffee and tv, Caramel, Battle, and No Distance Left to Run all rank pretty high on my favorite blur songs list.

I like 13. Great album. My favorite Blur album is Blur. I think that album is just phenomenal. Agreed! Their self titled album is amazing. Tune after tune on that record. My favorites are: Beetlebum, Country Sad Ballad Man, On Your Own, You're So Great and Death of A Party.
