Idk if this has been said before, but does anybody else think the chorus of SB&JF sounds like the "you'll be older too" part in When I'm Sixty Four by The Beatles? I think it's pretty cool

great song. and I quite like the live version. it's just that it cant reach the greatness of the other songs they play.

This is the song I dig the most out of his album. Lyrically well written, this little beat that goes throughout the entire song just makes it seem like it's a story of some sort. he paints a really good pic of this humdrum town. I do see somewhat of a similarity with it to "When I'm 64". Heard it live a few times, I quite liked it, however, like Cologne, the LA crowd wasn't really feeling it either. each to their own I suppose.

this one's actually grown on me quite a bit. I used to really hate it but it's not that bad. i have been listening to the album a lot less though... so maybe i needed to take a break from it. Im not saying the song is great or anything but it's not as terrible as i thought it was at one point. The chorus is good. Unfortunately, like a lot of people have already pointed out... Live, it's just doesn't work. Sadly for Noel, this isn't an isolated case as many of his new songs suffer from his lackluster performance.

I don't think that its a matter of it 'not working' live, i think its just not as spell-binding as others, even though it is a great song IMO. Just like A Bell Will Ring. Played as another song to promote then new album but live it was nice, but you could tell it wasnt one that would have been a setlist lifer (like KTDA may have been).

Its not the best track on the album but I really like the tune. I was shocked when people thought it was the worst track on the album. It's got a great atmosphere to it kinda like the kinks mixed with the benefit of mr. kite topped with When I'm Sixty Four's melody. The track has got some great lyrics as well.

it's a great recording on headphones/ speakers, but it was dead when I saw him live in philadelphia.
The song is the kinks doing the chord changes of eleanor rigby and the chorus is when i'm sixty four.

I actually didn't much care for it on the album, but like it a lot more after hearing it live.
