Adele, Foster The People, and Katy Perry are fine...I can't get behind a lot of that other stuff, especially dubstep.

Pumped Up Kicks is a good song, but it sounds like a college radio hit rather than a mainstream radio hit.

Foster The People are such shit, I don't get the appeal of Pumped Up Kicks at all. Basically its appeals to people who are trying to earn some sort of "indie" cred. Hipster runoff pretty much exactly hit the nail on the head with regard to this band. It's just a boring music. I'm sorry if this post offends anyone. I'm not hating on your tastes or anything but I dislike how people think they are fresh and exciting. They are basically this years Passion Pit "alternative" shit. |

I do not like Noah and the Whale at all... Something funny happened a few weeks back, me and my dad were in the car and LIFEGOESON came on the radio and we both said at the same time "These lot are fucking shit" xD

I'll defend Noah and the Whales second album it may be self indulgent on the heartbreak and I'm not a fan of the guy's voice but some of those tunes are excellently crafted.

You know exactly what you're getting when she releases another single (how many are there from the current album? 8?) but they're always catchy, well-produced, and well-written. Not inspiring or anything, but it's pleasant ear candy. |
