That was a pretty depressing gig. Missed the Minneapolis one, but managed to make it up to Milwaukee for this one (4 hr drive for me).
Band sounded fine, but Liam was just not into it. 4LW and 3RC were the highlights. DEAD crowd. Half filled, if that. And I was talking to some knob who said he was the "biggest Oasis fan" ever, but was surprised about the fact that Beady Eye was not playing Oasis songs last night. LOL,
I personally don't think it is worth it for BDI to come to midsized US towns to play. Not enough fans..

Milwaukee...
I personally think that they shouldn't have tour twice a year. Paradiso back in March was sold out really fast, but HMH last month was a completely another story.

If only Noel was there. Cough. Somehow, I don't see Noel stopping by to lend a hand...

It was kind of bizarre. Figured. Bought seats for that gig and then couldn't go. I couldn't give them away for free. Seriously, I tried. The tickets are in my garbage. Luckily, I was able to pick up tix for Milwaukee for basically nothing, so I'm about even...

I just felt so bad for LAG, it was hard to enjoy the music.

^^^ That suxx about the venue being half full. But, Liam's a fuckin pro, he'll play even its to 20 fuckers. If ppl cant get into the music that's their prob. I've gone to other bands gigs, that are near empty, and I'm still rocking out. Shit that suxx is that with the Oasis split, most fans have gone on the side where "the talent" lays and Noels shows are actually not that thrilling and need a shot of cocaine to jump start them. if you want rock n roll you're not going to get that at Noels gigs, like Liam stated in LA, "we're not here to play "folk" music" Its like United/City everyone wants to be/claim they support United bc they're always winning, no one really wants to claim City bc they hadn't won shit in ages....and look how the tables are turning now...which BE will do the same as time goes by. Bunch of negative Nancy's "the gig was half empty, why not the gig was half full? Quit trying to fuckin hate. many are being negatively biased against BE bc "oh Noel didn't write the songs, so their shit." fuck off, I was at BE's LA gig just this past saturday, and the only time I was disappointed was when Liam announced they were playing their final song. At Noels gig, I found myself at times, a bit out of synch with the gig, somewhat uncaptivated. but whateves, each to their own.

People are not being negatively biased against Liam any more than you are negatively biased against Noel. Not about "bias". Who you like better is simply personal preference.

Had front row VIP seats up in the balcony which also was half full. Very sad showing as I hadn't seen it as dead in there ever before. It had a weird vibe with how dead it was. I think it being on a Tuesday night with no local promotion didn't help either. If it was on a weekend you would have gotten more people from Chicago or other parts of the state. It was a good show overall just weird to see them perform in front of such a small group of people.

"Americans want grungy people, stabbing themselves in the head on stage. They get a bright bunch like us, with deodorant on, they don't get it"- LG
Sadly i agree with this mid-90's quote.

uh--oh---does this undisputed dearth of audiences mean that Liam has to cut back on his rockstar status? Doubtless he is already eating into his sizable assets generated in the Oasis days: his earning power is surely diminishing these days, and his royalties from his previous days are keeping him afloat------but are the days of 'chilled champagne flown in from LA' actually over, as financial priorities now turn to making BDI a world-calibre act?
