Ripping off that post about the best post BHN songs, how about the ten worst? I'm not saying they are shit or anything, but you know, not as good as the rest or ones you always tend to skip on the latest 3 albums? For me:
1: Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is 2: Born on a Different Cloud 3: Little James 4: Better Man 5: Sunday Morning Call (Loved it at first, but I've become bored with it compared to WDIAGW and other songs on SOTSOG). 6: I Can See A Liar
Just occured to me while doing this that I don't skip any songs on DBTT anymore. At first I never listened to Lyla 'cos I'd already seen and heard it so much on the cable music channels (UK) and radio. And I also didn't like Meaning of Soul at first, but now I'm starting to get a new appreciation for it and Lyla! So I can't include anything from DBTT on this list. I also think Liam's writing has hugely improved from BOADC, which is probably the most boring Oasis song ever for me!

Noel himself has said it's genius and doesn't believe Liam actually penned it, but as far as your 2-6, spot on. I would also add.... Digsy's Diner Roll Without The Girl In the Dirty Shirt (Probably) All In the Mind Sitting Here In the Silence (On My Own)

Roll Without The Girl In the Dirty Shirt (Probably) All In the Mind
Man I love those three! Think BOADC is a complete dirge though. It starts okay but ends up going nowhere.

I think Stay Young is kinda overrated. Love everything on BHN though, and other b-sides from that era like I Got The Fever, My Sister Lover, The Fame, Angel Child and Flashbax, which I personally liek as much as anything on The Masterplan. Each to their own, this is the beauty of Oasis, so many songs including all the b-sides, there's so much choice for everyone to sink their teeth in to. You could ask 100 different Oasis fans to name their 5 best songs and I bet very, very few of them would pick the exact same 5, even if they weren't putting it in a specific order. Even those songs I said I didn't like above, its all in context, only compared to the ones I like the most, I still kind of like the ones I slag off! Why they are the best band ever for me. They've never made a totally shit song!

POST BE HERE NOW SONGS, right... so scratch Digsy's Diner & roll wothout ;D and whatnot.
I can see a liar (the lyrics are fucking atrocious) put your money where your mouth is (see above) little james (nice excercise in songwriting tho ;D ) all in the mind (oasis sleepwalking) you've got the heart of a star (just not my cuppa tea really) helter skelter (this NEEDS liams vox) roll it over (too full of US style self loathing)

all in the mind, i can see a liar, little james, roll it over, won't let you down (i don't get how 90% of the member of this forum seem to think it shudda been on the album)
they're just not that good, still like them but i know i'm completely biased.... if they'd been released by any other band, i wouldn't have had any interest in them

01. Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is - needs a 2nd verse very very badly 02. Little James - I think we all know why 03. I Can See A Liar - like a pale copy of an old Oasis song, they shouldn't have bothered. 04. Full On - Shit 05. Thank You For The Good Times - good song RUINED by seriously lousy production

Little james gets my vote as worst oasis song of ALL the albums! A quick peep is also a very pointless addition to ANY oasis album - talk about a "filler" !!

I'm not a big fan of NME but their review of SOTSOG is 100% on Little James:
...same goes for 'Little James', the already contentious songwriting debut of the junior Gallagher. True, it's as rudimentary as Lego, rhyming "Plasticine"with "tambourine",and owes the most obvious Beatles debt on an album with a fair few of those, but it conveys a hallowed aura mostly lacking elsewhere, and if you're not even faintly moved when Liam sings, "We weren't meant to be grown-ups"to his stepson then the dog ate your heart with a mouldy bone yesterday. 'Little James' works because it's a universal emotion, uniquely expressed, with palpable conviction, simple but profound - like all the truly great Oasis songs.
I love LJ, in fact I love that whole album.

1. Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is - (it has a great start, and suddenly it goes completely wrong) 2. A Quick Peep - (worst instrumental) 3. Better Man - (awful production)
I don't know why people dislike Little James and Roll It Over... , well maybe Little James is far from being Liam's best but i really like it, and RIO could have been a classic with some lyrics improvement
