Just having seen BDI last night, I really notice and appreciate the talents on stage and how they work together. Liam, Gem, and Sharrock are great to watch, and even though Andy isnt much of a showman, he is a great musician and certainly contributes to the band.
As for the HFB, Mike Rowe is definitely a keeper, Russell on bass keeps up well. I don't mind the other two, but they certainly serve their function.

Didn't Noel say recently in an interview that once this tour was over that the other guys were gonna be going off and doing other things? Can't remember where I read it, definitely gave me the impression that the lineup was gonna be interchangeable in the future depending on who's available. Might have read it in this, not too sure... www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/interview-noel-gallagher-talks-guitars-gear-and-high-flying-birds-512993Found the quote... Would you tour with a different band for that record (the AA collaboration)? "I…think…so. The guys I'm touring with now, they might have other things to do after this is done. I don't know. That's the answer: I don't know. But it would be nice to keep things moving and fluid…fresh." Mike Rowe and Russell are definitely the strongest part of Noels band, as much as I wanna love Jeremy Staceys drumming there's definitely something about his playing that 'appears' amateurish and bland, saying that he pulls off the fills at the end of Mucky Fingers well enough. As for the dude on guitar, he just doesn't look quite right to me, looks like Noel found him in a Beatles tribute band.

All I can say is that HFB even played the Oasis songs better than Oasis As much as I enjoyed seeing NGHFB live, and as good as they were, nothing can touch Oasis musically - Oasis were on a whole other level

Are The Zutons broken up or just on hiatus? Since Russell would likely not be around for long if they are just taking a break.....
