Alex turner co-wrote half of his first album, its amazing everything he touches is gold. No wonder its a great solo debut. The song Colour of the trap is a classic. But i'm wanting a second Last shadow Puppets album!!

But i'm wanting a second Last shadow Puppets album!! Fucking right. I love the LSP record completely and wholly. Even the b-sides were cracking.

Heard the solo album for the first time a few days ago. I didn't know what to expect but I really enjoyed it.

Their cover of Bowie's In the Heat of the Morning is far better then his oringinal. I doubt we see a second album to be honest but i do think a follow up is needed.

Then I was convinced to give FWN a go, thought that was better, but still uninspired to go further. The weird thing is, I really wanna see them live! I'll listen to them more before Glasto.

FWN is just the debut part two compared to their other two, they really change up their sound. The highs aren't as high over the next two, less singles more solid album tracks, but the albums have more of a sound and style to them. I'm a fan, but I reckon its worth trying one more (and in my opinion, Humbug) before deciding they aren't for you.

I haven't seen much buzz yet for his new album. I believe it drops in June. I was also surprised to learn that Miles is 27. I was thinking he was much much younger.

Album cover is kinda cool and the new single is catchy with the la la las. That is a Liam move right there!

Thanks dean. I remember seeing him for the first time as The Last Shadow Puppets in Paradiso years ago. I was really impressed.

I never really was too taken back at the time when the last shadow puppets were out. Yet, i really got into them about 2 or 3 years ago! Hope they do another album in the next 4 or 5 years. I found The age of the understatement really nostalgic and stylish! You're welcome by the way, knowledge is power

Off to see Miles in the Zanzibar tonight. I imagine most of you have heard of the venue as it was where Noel debuted Stop the Clocks. Be great to see Miles in such a tiny little place so close to his hometown.
