I dont care for any of his work so far - except for his solo album. Slightly too, for lack of a better term, commercial/poppy for my taste, but very good nonetheless. Plus, Noel does backup vocals on one track I heard

What other work has he done? I've never really heard anything good about The Rascals and I listened to The Little Flames album, maybe once. His work on The Last Shadow Puppets is still his best stuff.

The Little Flames had a few good songs and The Rascals had a few good songs too. Miles was already doing qute some acoustic sessions alone when he was in The Rascals.
The Last Shadow Puppets were made by 2 brilliant talented young men. I've seen them in Paradiso in 2008. It took me 2 and half years until I saw Miles again (supporting BE in March 2011). Love his album and live performance. This young man is something.

Someone recorded the gig at Olympia in a good quality/resolution video? I want this download, but I can't find.

Last Shadow Puppets are wonderful. I wasn't fully convinced of Turner until I heard The Age of the Understatement which sold me on his brilliance. Humbug only confirmed that belief.

Heard Mile's new song last night and I quite like it. Very 60's and it could have been one of the Weller songs as well.

I dont care for any of his work so far - except for his solo album. Slightly too, for lack of a better term, commercial/poppy for my taste, but very good nonetheless. Plus, Noel does backup vocals on one track I heard Noel sings backup on My Fantasy, but you cant tell at all that its him. I like Miles' songwriting, but the debut album's production was so effing boring. He's a cracking songwriter though and the LSP album was my favorite album released that year. I prefer Miles live or acoustic, I do like the solo album, but its a tad boring. The new track seems like more of the same. I hope he expanded his horizon a bit. Here's Diamond Trip, which was written during his days with The Rascals, but is a brilliant song

I prefer Miles live or acoustic, I do like the solo album, but its a tad boring. I concur. I seen him at the HMV Ritz in Manchester in 2011 and when supporting Beady Eye at Manchester Apollo. He's got great energy. If 'Give up' is representative of the whole album - his tours gonna be fuckin' brilliant.

Don't get the boring comments, one of the best out there at the minute in my opinion.
