really like Be Happy Children . who is sings the woman voice anyway at this song? Hannah - his very young second wife who could have been his daughter. She joined "22 Dreams" as a backing singer and joined him on the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in 2010. You can see her singing with Weller on "Find The Torch, Burn The Plans" DVD.

Weller played for two and a half hours, 33 tunes last night! All solo stuff, except from Town Called Malice and The Butterfly Collector. Fantastic show, but I have to say I lost interest when he started to sound like a jam band on some of his earlier solo tunes and around halfway through Sonik Kicks. The highlights were a fantastic acoustic set (the aforementioned Butterfly Collector, Out of The Sinking, You Do Something To Me, Devotion, Aim High) and when he got right to the point with some of his better solo tunes (Fast Car Slow Traffic, Echoes Round The Sun, Stanley Road).

Weller's one of The Chief's main influences and one of his idols so he'll do for me. Never classed myself as a Weller fan, although I do have Stanley Road, 22 Dreams and Wake Up The Nation. Sonik Kicks is a belter and my fav since Stanley Road. Well done Weller. 7.75/10.

Nice to hear that, TheImportance. Were there a support band ? I'm seeing him next month (my 7th Weller solo gig). Looking forwad to hear the new songs live.

I think they just pulled them at the last minute because the website and ticketmaster didn't have them listed.

From all the 6 Weller solo gigs I've been to, 2 Dutch bands supported him - Moke in 2008 and Maurits from Gem (solo) in 2010. 2 of his earlier 2010 gigs were supported by an English band (I can't remember their name) and Amy MaCdonald supported Weller & Cradock's acoustic gig in Paradiso back in 2007. I'm curious who's gonna support him this time. Happy birthday Mr Weller! He's a gemini as well.

I like half the songs on this album but unfortunately the other half do nothing for me I should probably have another listen soonish though as the album came out the same week as The Shins fourth album which excited me more.

Is it good? im gonna get it for my dad so I don't want it to disappoint. Apart from that dangerous age and the attic what other good songs are there on the album?

When Your Garden's Overgrown Green By the Water ...I would say! I've listened to when your gardens overgrown as its his new single and quite like it but I think it'll grow on me evn more, his new stuff isn't instantly likeable, although I do like be happy children and Kling I Klang. Really don't get study in blue lasting 6 minutes and it never seems to go anywhere...
