I didn't care for Dangerous Age when I first heard it, but that song has greatly grown on me. Love it now.

can't stand paul weller or the jam. don't know where the genius is Sonik Kicks is a terrific record, and that's coming from someone who has never been a Paul Weller fan. Adventurous songs and sounds abound. My only negative comment would be that the last song has to be the most appalling ending to a great album I've ever heard.

My copy of the delux edition just arrived and I'm listening to it right now !
In innernotes:
"In loving memory of Amy Winehouse"
Noel Gallagher has been mentioned 3 times in electric guitar, bass and acoustic guitar.
Being a huge Weller fan for years and years, my most favourite his album is still Stanley Road, but I loved 22 Dreams and Wake Up The Nation too and I think I'm going to love this album more than those two.
Love this "Mr. changing man". Well done, Mr. Weller!

I personally think this record is phenomenal. Gonna be one of the best this year... Still sticking with Miles Kane to have the best.

I don't know what to make of this. I'm less than thrilled although I went to the first of his Roundhouse gigs. Hope my impression will change after a few more listening

Noel Gallagher has been mentioned 3 times in electric guitar, bass and acoustic guitar. on which songs? "The Attic", at least, right? Noel's name was just credited among with others in electric guitars, bass and drums. On DVD there's a Weller's track by track interview, so hopefully I can find more about it (am gonna watch it tonight). An another nice surprise was that David Nock (drummer from one of my very favourite bands, Erland and The Carnival) joined Weller on drums as well.

MP3 Album is available on Amazon today for $3.99. I hope those that downloaded it from other sources dig up the funds to buy the album proper. I can't even believe soulseek still exists. Artists like Weller deserve a proper purchase.
Album is pretty good on first listen and I expect it will grow with further listens.

Artists like Weller deserve a proper purchase. Exactly. Really loving this album and can't wait to see him again in June. (my 7th Weller solo gig)

Thanks xand and micheal, I'm sorry, but I can't help you. Maybe you can try to order the delux version via Weller's official website?

I'm really enjoying this album. I thought Wake up the Nation was just ok, had a few really good songs but the rest were just ok. This one is again another step in a different direction. I love Green. It just blows my mind every time, especially knowing that its coming from a guy who's almost 60. Unbelievable. When Your Garden's Overgrown, The Attic, Kling I Klang, and that bizarre reggae beat extended outro to Study in Blue are my favourites. My favourite's still 22 Dreams though

"Kling I Klang" could have been one of The Rifles songs and I'm pretty sure that he would have wanted to sing "Be Happy Children" with Amy Winehouse.
I'm really loving this album.
