If he's a day older than 15 his parents need to be killed. Although you certainly have a point, what you have just said is just as bad. Worse, I would argue ;D

Stern loves pushing people's buttons. That's his claim to fame. hell, a little over a month ago he managed to get Tony Bennett, of all people, in hot water by asking him about 9/11 and the Iraq war. He loves putting controversial issues out there for celebrities to answer, and the backlash can be severe if the person being interviewed says the wrong thing. I've heard plenty of celebrities say they love Howard's show but would NEVER be a guest on it. And considering there's probably a lot Noel is keeping under wraps now, it wouldn't be a good idea in the long run. Yeah, we'd probably get some quality moments from it, but I'm pretty sure it would be a lot of Noel saying "no comment, can't say", etc.

If only that didn't end with an "lol" I might actually have taken you for a grown-up there oh how nice of you, i try to be correct and avoid a misunderstanding where you may have felt insulted and you basically call me a child. Go fuck yourself. uptight fat cow. Oh calm down. It was a gentle prompt that sincerity or attempts to be concilatory are undermind by ending every thought with. lol Have you not noticed that you have lol, rofl, lmao tourrettes?

that's basically what he said about Liam's wife(at the time)... Howard read between the lines though, as we all did. However, he did not shy away from any Liam talk. He threw him right under the bus--as he always did but it was all in good fun and it was a great interview imo. still, that was back in 97. Howard was very complimentary about Noel's skills as a songwriter.
on a side note, i find it funny how people have a problem with for insulting someone, then they turn around and do exact same thing. Oh, but we're just reacting--they may claim. Only thing is, i also reacted because someone insulted me first as well.
it's a never ending cycle i suppose.

Stern is actually a great interviewer. He has arguably the greatest show on radio ever. He gets celebrities to reveal shit they wouldn't normally talk about. He asks the stuff that regular "journalists" don't have the balls to ask. The dude's funny and yes it can get vulgar at times but come on, it's all in good fun... and enjoyable, unless you're some miserable 30+ year old woman that is. Chris Martin went on his show a couple of weeks ago and Howard got him to talk about all kinds of stuff. I think if Noel paid another visit it would be radio gold. I guess there's people who rather listen to another boring ass set of questions, the same old shit Noel's tired of talk about. Btw, it's not entirely up to Howard's people who gets to be on the show. If fucking Matt Nathanson can go and promote his album, im sure someone who's previously been there like Noel would be no problem. I appreciate a good interview...I don't think that you have to treat people like he does to get interesting information. I just don't generally find his interesting. I don't think it's the publics right to know about people abusive childhoods or their sexual relationships with their wives/girlfriend or how they wank off. There are some people that don't mind talking about shit like that. I don't think that Noel is that open though so i don't think that an interview with a person that automatically goes to where Stern goes to would go extremely well. Maybe it would be great. In which case it would be one of the few of his that I have liked. I'm not 30+, I'm 26 and I have disliked Stern since my teenage years. It's not because I am old that I dislike that kind of invasive incursion into peoples business, so stop being insulting. He heavyhandedly approaches very sensitive subjects and I am repelled by that. Just my opinion though. Obviously enough people like his approach. And all the power to him. My 3 favorite things in the world. Oasis, Howard Stern and Budweiser. You don't like Howard Stern because you are a woman. Having Noel on there again would be fantastic. I would celebrate by combining the trefecta and cracking open a nice tall Budweiser and enjoy some fantastic radio. Not to mention it would then be on Howard TV which is also fantastic.

Obviously not everyone like going on Stern but people do it because they know that it's great exposure and if Howard tells his audience to go and buy an album, movie or what have you, they will. In that interview Stern was asking Martin about things that he has said or not said or what critics have said about Coldplay etc., & he mentioned something like "& then you have that guy from Oasis talking shit about your band....your not like that.

I agree with your top two. Im not beer drinker myself. Stern is the greatest interviewer of all time. Does he ask questions some might find inappropriate? Sure but he gets more out of a guest than any other person on the planet. His interviews of musicians lately have been incredible. He actually made Chris Martin interesting, had him play a bunch of songs and explain the origins of each song. Thats what Stern can do. He can interview someone for an hr without a commercial break and without the fake banter and rehearsed stories that most people give on other talk shows.
