US rocker Courtney Love has stormed off stage in Brazil after spotting someone in the crowd holding up a photo of her late husband Kurt Cobain.

Love's band Hole was in the middle of a set at the SWU festival in Sao Paulo on Sunday when she suddenly lost her temper.

"You know, I don't need to see a picture of Kurt, a—hole, and I'm going to have you f---ing removed if you keep throwing that out," she said to the person in the crowd.

"I'm not Kurt. I have to live with his f---ing shit and his ghost and his kid every day."

A nearly-topless Love, 47, continued her rant.

"You didn't get kicked out of a band by him like Dave [Grohl]. He did," she raged.

"Go see the f---ing Foo Fighters and do that s---.

"Great. We'll leave now. F--- you."

The shrunken singer, who was married to the late Nirvana frontman for two years, came back on stage but only after a topless, barefoot Englishman made the crowd chant: "The Foo Fighters are gay".

Cobain killed himself in 1994 at the age of 27.

The couple’s daughter, Frances Bean, is now estranged from her Love.

Courtney Love is a j*ck *ss. Don't get me started. This really, really, really fires me up. Kurt Cobain and his daughter deserve better. She's a whack job and disrespectful.... and that's all I"m going to say....

Anyway, Courtney Love is a fucking nutcase and I feel bad for the daughter. She's already shown some strange tendencies to say the least (her artwork, her suicide birthday party) Now apparently she's severed ties with her mother and is getting married at 19. Poor kid never had a chance.
