That's actually my favorite part of the song...I read somewhere, I think in the little booklet, that the "doesn't matter if its out of tune" was part of his "hotshot bravado" that he would use to intimidate other bands they were playing with. He would basically say fuck off, we're better, our instruments could be made out of sand and we'd blow you out of the water...
