Got a text off a friend who went: "He killed it, Importance of Being Idle was worth the price of admission alone. Much mellower Noel overall."
Anyone here go? How was it?

Just got back from the NYC gig. I went both nights. It was amazing. He keeps you on your feet and screaming the lyrics for the whole time. So good.

He was awesome at all his New York stops I attended (Letterman, Beacon 1, Beacon 2). He also rocked Philadelphia last Friday. I'm hoping for another NYC/Philly holiday stop in mid December.

also thought it was funny that as I was leaving the venue, we were greeted by people handing out flyers to the Beady Eye show at Terminal 5......... lawwls, yea i got a flier too -- bet they were Liam-hired. I was sitting in 3rd row at the first show on Nov. 14th and thought it was simply amazing, short but sweet. People were singing and screaming and dancing in my crowd, we even alternated in shouting "whatever" for him to play when all of a sudden he said to us "hope that's not your review of my show" lol He talked to us and the crowd a few times which makes up for his grumpiness before teh show at soundcheck. It's unbelievable how well High Flying Birds have done but I dislike them all the way. Oasis forever. 1 disappointment..a lot of ppl didn't sing along to the new songs. WHY WHY WHY Noel is genius, he put on an amazing show, but the rest of the boys were still missing..and BDI is suffering the same gap. They had the perfect balance, now its apparent in both of their shows.

It was really good. Mellow, classy, great tunes, good banter. Exactly what I expected. Real highlights were Record Machine, Idle, and amazingly, the HUGE singalong to Little By Little.
Did I really miss the Liam charisma and danger, however? Absolutely. Did I feel a bit nostalgic for all those nights we've spent in huge football stadiums belting out these tunes from my youth? Absolutely.
Until the next time we do that, it'll be THAT voice versus THAT back catalogue for me. But Noel was great.
