the number one is like 98% of the time right on CD:UK - but last time with Songbird i was fuckin gutted. Cus people just imigine 30,000 people got knocked back on friday night and went out and bought Mr.Lonely on saturday morning. Right OK Very much a worst case senario

It's a crime that Lyla was a #1 over Songbird. I think it was outright strange how Lyla was the first single, I agree with Noel when he says its the worst one of the album. It's totally vapid.

Its making up for wen wonderwall never made it to no.1 so frustrating to see people like akon getting no.1 straiht away wen live forever doesnt make it anywhere near no.1 anyway so will LYLA stay at no. 1 for a second week?

neh, wouldnt think so.
nice to hear the boys are still going well in their homecountry, tho my eyes are rather on the album chart..isnt the black eyes peas album released in the same week? with DBTT getting almost no promotion in central-europe at all i wonder what the result's gonna be.

It's now the first time a number 1 Oasis single has not sold 100,000 or more.
