Is this true?
Number ones:
Don't look back in anger (#1 in the UK)
Some might say UK (#1 in the UK
D'you know what I mean (#1 in the UK)
All around the world (#1 in the UK)
Go let it out (#1 in the UK)
The hindu times (#1 in the UK, Italy and Canada)
What about Wonderwall in the US or any other oasis singles released in the US? If what they say on oasisinet.com is true, then oasis never had a #1 in the US.

There's been so much hype about the new Oasis single I can't imagine how anyone else could actually beat them to the no.1 spot, Akon is the current number one with that really sh*t tune and he's been there for 2 weeks already so there's no f*cking way he'll be staying there. Even if Elvis is releasing another tune this week could it actually handle the might of Oasis???

exactly...in fact due to bad timing they missed out on 4 other number ones Roll with it...beatin by Blurs coutry house in the whole bript pop battle thing (partly coz they released 2 versions of it meaning there fans techincally bought 2 copies of it!!) Wonderwall...beatin by robson and Gerome when they were massive singin unchained melody think that sold milllions due to a certain TV programm on at the time stand by me...released the same time as elton johns candles in the wind for di!!! didnt really stand a chance at all SCYHO... beatin by Elvis!! even if it was featurein that JXl dude another massive song due to TV cant remember what little by little was beatin by?

wonderwall didnt make it to #1, but it was in the top 100 for more than a year. that cover of wonderwall actually went to number 1 while the actual song was still in the charts.

Hay real quick reson why Wounderwall didn't make it to number one, Don't Look Back In Anger. The song was better and since they came out at the same time Wounderwall didn't have the chance to overthrow DLBIA before it lost steam in the charts. It happened all the time with the beatles
