Love the album overall...not a dud on it, but I ranted and raved a bit about "Dream On"...especially the grating outro with (count em') 13 "shout it out for me's".
Now though, I utterly love it...someone said awhile ago that it feels the most "US radio-friendly" and I completely concur now.
Pare down the outro and you've got a great 4 minute pop song.
Opinions otherwise?
Seems like many have turned the corner on SOTWB, too. (?)

Dream On was the only song that I wasn't excited about on the first couple listens, but the next morning it was stuck in my head and it won me over shortly after. Everything else was pretty immediate. Wrong Beach was awesome on first listen and I still love it. GREAT chorus in that song.

can't hear "us-radio-friendly" anymore. noel wrote shitloads of songs which were us-radio-friendly. he didn't start doing it since he went solo

What a life, record machine and everybodys on the run are US radio friendly. Nearly ALL of my non Oasis loving friends that have heard those three songs have been blown away.

Agree completely on the chorus of SOTWB...couldn't believe people weren't on-board with it immediately.

None really. Although i put If i had a gun back in my tracklisting. Couldnt stand that song before (mainly coz it's draaaags on for too long, the structure is shit), but now it flows with the rest.

I haven't completely 180'd on WAL, but I do like it much more now. Dream On has also gotten my attention a bit more.
Still don't care for SBAJF, though. It's alright, but pretty bland when it comes down to it.

The Good Rebel.... It took me at least a month to get all the way through it.... But the live versions have made me see it differently.... I'm not so keen on the studio version, but the live one is great

Probably Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks. It took a few listens though

I love all the tunes, apart from The Good Rebel which I will never take to. Probably Stranded On The Wrong Beach is the one which has grown on me the most as it was the weakest effort on the album - it still is but it's something I will quite happily listen to with ease. Though I still believe Alone On The Rope should of been there instead.

180'd on Dream On (Used to love it, now I'm indifferent to it) and AKA... Broken Arrow, Wrong Beach, What A Life (Used to dislike them, now they're my favourites).
Currently going off Record Machine a bit too.
