I love them. Never hear anything about them around here. Do they have a poor reputation in England or something?Ive never heard Noel reference them once, but Squeeze also never hid away from there Beatles Influences. Just curious what the forum thought about them!

I love them! Squeeze are one of the greatest pop bands ever, yet too underrated. My all the time favourite songs by them are "Pulling Mussels", "Another Nail In My Heart" and "Up The Junction".

Love Squeeze. One of the best gigs I have ever been to was seeing Glenn Tilbrook - just him and an acoustic guitar - was brilliant. Really funny guy too.

I like to think of Squeeze as a great singles band, but their albums were just a little better than average (especially with the "Difford/Tilbrook being the Lennon/McCartney of their era" burden that was placed on their shoulders. Best albums to buy if you wanna get into them, IMO:
Sweets From A Stranger 7.5/10 East Side Story 7.25/10 Argybargy 6.75/10

I like Squeeze quite a bit. I always thought Tilbrook sounded a bit like a young Liam. Certain phrases and things, especially on Pulling Mussels.
