So I picked up the DELUXE EDITION of the album this morning at the local Best Buy in New York. To my surprised, the copy they were selling was different than what websites described the Deluxe Edition in the past. The first difference is that the DVD only has the making of Documentary, no music videos or making of music videos. The second difference is that the CD itself has 2 bonus tracks, Let The Lord Shine A Light on Me and The Good Rebel. ![]() [/IMG][/URL] Uploaded with ImageShack.usHas anyone else who got the Deluxe Edition in the US got the same version, or is that just a Best Buy Thing?? |

My digital download from the pre-order on NG's website doesn't include those tracks.

Is the DVD a proper DVD, or did they decide to go the idiotically boring route of a slideshow with video commentary? I'm really not going to splash out on the DVD if it's the latter, as I fear it is....

Seeing these two differences what would you say is the best deal? the two extra songs, arent that big a deal however having the all the DVD stuff is.

Not pissed at Noel and upset about what i got for my money but its f'd up that i pre order deluxe to turn around and find out the BBY version in stores has two more songs. Granted i have them of course, just feels like a slap in the face to a die hard fan. I totally blame distribution for this. I do not think Noel would be to happy if he knew his core fan base who paid for the ablum got screwed. At first i was considering not buying the BBY version but its not his fault and only hurts him. I'm really pissed and feel betrayed by who ever made this decision but giving them more money for BBY version on top of the Deluxe i pre ordered is a less of an evil to me than turning my back on getting Noel to number one. Pretty sure just to vent im going to write and send a letter some where though. I really think Noel would be pissed and has no clue this happened. His ass better land number one after me having to purchase the ablum twice!

I went to Best Buy this morning and saw NGHFB's album staring right at me when I got the the music section. It said 16.99 and I thought "wtf is this?" Then I realized it was the Deluxe edition with the DVD and the two b-sides. I didn't even see the normal version, so I picked up the Deluxe.
I blasted everybody's on the run with so much pride as I drove away from best buy. twas a glorious day.

It's not a Best Buy version at all. It's just the US version of the Deluxe edition. I didn't buy mine at Best Buy.

Bought mine at FYE and watched the DVD.
When I went to rip the CD to iTunes i get an error message! "error occurred while trying to convert file "everybody's on the run" You do not have the privileges to make changes"
anyone else have this problem? is it some copy protection thing?! frustrated

(and they only had 3 copies of the deluxe) ... i had assumed it was the deluxe that was available elsewhere, but i hadn't remembered the two b-sides being at the end before. |

Strange the bonus tracks are listed on the US deluxe album on the back but the bonus songs are not on the Japan album, I would prefer the songs to be listed but they are hidden on my Japan album.
